A Service Agreement is signed by IIT Palakkad with the CropIn Technology Solutions Private Limited, Bengaluru on 01 July 2024. The objective of the agreement is Conducting research on Recent Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches for Crop Detection. Under the above broad theme there will be specific focus on Few Shot Learning and Meta-Learning based approaches as one of the primary approach explored. The MoU is signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean- Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, IIT Palakkad and Ms. Ashwini Karumbaiah, Vice President (People), CropIn Technology Solutions Private Limited.
