IIT Palakkad, and Velammal Institutions, Madurai (Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, and Velammal Hospital and Research Institute) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for academic and research purposes, on 28th August 2025. The MoU was signed by Dr Athira P, Dean Academics and Professor Santhakumar Mohan, Dean ICSR, along with the principal and dean of Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, and Velammal Hospital and Research Institute, in the presence of Dr Latha, Associate Professor, Industry Institute Partnership Cell, and Dr Selvalakshmi, Associate Professor, Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai.

IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with Manipal Academy of Higher Education on 19th June 2025. This MoU shall establish the criteria under which parties shall carry out academic collaborative activities in areas of mutual interest. The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (Industry Collaboration & Sponsored Research), IIT Palakkad, and Dr. P. Giridhar Kini, Registrar, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with KPR College of Arts, Science and Research on 23rd July 2025, to collaborate in research areas of mutual interest. The MoU encompasses academic and research activities, including exchange of information, joint supervision of projects, joint organization of seminars and conferences, student internships, and joint proposals for research funding. The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (Industry Collaboration & Sponsored Research), IIT Palakkad, representing the institution, and Dr.P. Geetha,Principal, KPR College of Arts, Science and Research. 

IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology on 21st July 2025, to collaborate in research areas of mutual interest. The MoU encompasses academic and research activities, including exchange of information on research and educational programs, joint supervision of projects by faculty members from both institutes, joint organization of seminars, conferences, workshops, and short-term courses, student internships between both institutes and  joint proposals for research funding. The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean, Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, representing IIT Palakkad, and Dr.D.Saravanan, principal, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.
