IIT Palakkad has entered into a bilateral Non- Disclosure Agreement with Westinghouse Air Brakes Technology Corporation (Wabtec), and its affiliates, acting through Wabtec India Transportation Private Limited, on 04 July 2024. Both parties signed the agreement, including Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean of ICSR, IIT Palakkad, and Shri Yogesh Kumar, Vice President, Technology, Wabtec India Industrial Private Limited. Prof. Sovan Lal Das and Dr. D. Kesavan were also present at this agreement-signing event in Wabtec, Bangalore.
