IIT Palakkad signed an Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram on 19 August 2024. The two institutions will encourage direct contact and co-operation between their faculty and administrative staff, departments and research institutions. The agreement promotes Academic and Research collaboration in the areas of mutual interest, Joint Supervision of M.Tech/ PhD projects and Conduct of joint conferences, seminars and workshops. The agreement was signed by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad and Dr. Unnikrishnan Nair S., Director, IIST Thiruvananthapuram.
