IIT Palakkad and Autodesk in India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 9th May 2025, to advance skill development in the DesignandMake industries. The milestone collaboration, formalized by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director of IIT Palakkad, and Smitha Raghunathan, Interim Regional Director of Autodesk India & SAARC, aims to drive immersive learning, research collaboration, and curriculum innovation in architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), and design and manufacturing.

IIT Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tsilicon,Bengaluru on 9th May 2025. The MoU establishes a collaboration on research activities, including joint project proposal to funding agencies,product development based on collaborative research outcomes, student internships and faculty mentorship etc. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (ICSR), IIT Palakkad and Shri.Rama Rao Kotapally, Managing director, Tsilicon,Bengaluru. 

IIT Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences on 6th May 2025. The MoU focuses on collaboration in the field of renewable energy. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (ICSR), and Dr.Athira P,Dean(Academics), IIT Palakkad, and Dr.S.J.Vijay, Registrar, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. 

IIT Palakkad has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Climate ETC Technology Services Private Limited, Bengaluru on 22nd April 2025. The NDA was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean- Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, IIT Palakkad and Mr.Wilson Lawrence, Climate ETC Technology Services Private Limited, Bengaluru. 

IIT Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Institute of Engineering and Management(IEM) Kolkata on 23rd April 2025. The MoU focuses on collaboration on academic and research activities including exchange of information on research and educational programmes, joint organization of seminars, conferences, workshops and short-term courses. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (ICSR), IIT Palakkad and Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, Director, IEM, Kolkata. 

IIT Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Exodyne Pvt. Ltd. on 30th April 2025. The MoU focuses on collaborative proposals and developing indigenous technologies on navigation and positioning systems. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (ICSR), IIT Palakkad and Mr.Prasanth K. Prasad, Director operations,Exodyne Pvt. Ltd. 

IIT Palakkad signed an MoU with the Translational Research and Professional Leadership Centre (TPLC) of the Government Engineering College Barton Hill (GECBH), Trivandrum, on April 7, 2025. The MoU focuses on collaborative academic and research activities between the two institutions.The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Athira P., Dean Academics, IIT Palakkad; Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (ICSR), IIT Palakkad; and Dr. Shiny G., Principal, GEC Barton Hill, Trivandrum. 

IIT Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with  Dr Hiremath Global Enterprises, Dubai & Bengaluru, on 26th March 2025. The MoU establishes Collaboration on academic and research activities including joint project proposals to funding agencies, Product development based on collaborative research outcomes etc. The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan (Dean- Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, IIT Palakkad) and Dr. Vishwannath Hiremath, Director of Dr Hiremath Global Enterprises, Dubai & Bengaluru. 

IIT Palakkad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National Research Development Corporation(NRDC), New Delhi, on 23rd January 2025. The MoU establishes collaboration in development of technologies and their successful transfer to industry for commercialisation and socio-economic benefits. The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan (Dean- Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, IIT Palakkad) and Commodore Amit Rastogi (Retd), Chairman & Managing Director,NRDC.
