IIT Palakkad has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Analog Devices Inc. on 25th September 2025, to disclose to the other Party, Confidential and/or Proprietary Information for the purpose of exploring research opportunities. The NDA was signed by Dr.Arvind Ajoy, Dean- Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, IIT Palakkad, and Mr.Biswajit Mohanty, Head - ADI-University Collaborations.
IIT Palakkad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toshiba Software India Pvt. Ltd. (TSIP) on 14th October 2025, to foster collaborative research in the area of power systems. The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad; Mr. Yamauchi Yasunobu, VP R&D, TSIP; Mr. Ramdas Baliga, Managing Director, TSIP; Mr. Sudheendra C.V., SVP, Finance & Legal, TSIP; Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean, ICSR; Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, Associate Dean, ICSR; and Dr. Manas Kumar Jena, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Manas Kumar Jena will serve as the coordinator for this collaborative research.
IIT Palakkad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI) on 7th October 2025, to foster collaboration in research activities, and to facilitate student and faculty training programs.The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad; Dr Suresh M, Director incharge, FCRI; Dr. Dinesh Setti, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering; Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean, ICSR; Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, Associate Dean, ICSR; and Dr. Pramod Kuntikana, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, will serve as the faculty coordinator for this collaboration.
IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with Parul University for academic and research purposes on 18th September 2025. The MoU was signed by Dr Athira P., Dean of Academics, and Professor Santhakumar Mohan, Dean of ICSR, along with Prof. Manish Pandya, Registrar, Parul University.
IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with Compunnel Technology India Private Limited on 15th September 2025. This MoU aims to collaborate on Artificial Intelligence and its applications, engaging IITPKD faculty, students, and scholars as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for advice, research inputs, validation, or technical support, and organising joint workshops, seminars, or training sessions as may be mutually agreed. The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean, Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, representing IIT Palakkad, and Mr.Himanshu Kumar, Vice-President, Compunnel Technology India Private Limited.
IIT Palakkad, and Velammal Institutions, Madurai (Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, and Velammal Hospital and Research Institute) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for academic and research purposes, on 28th August 2025. The MoU was signed by Dr Athira P, Dean Academics and Professor Santhakumar Mohan, Dean ICSR, along with the principal and dean of Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, and Velammal Hospital and Research Institute, in the presence of Dr Latha, Associate Professor, Industry Institute Partnership Cell, and Dr Selvalakshmi, Associate Professor, Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai.
IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with the Indian Institute of Soil Science (ICAR-IISS), Bhopal on 21st August 2025. This MoU aims to promote and enhance scientific and academic interactions between IISS Bhopal and IIT Palakkad in mutually beneficial areas of global sanitation and sustainable soil health management with the following specific objectives: To develop co-composting protocols/methodologies for safe use of biosolids, To develop nutrient enriched biosolids derived product for its safe use in agriculture, To facilitate joint short term training programs in mutually agreed areas of interest. The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean, Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, representing IIT Palakkad, and Dr. MonoranjanMohanty, Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Sciences.

IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with Manipal Academy of Higher Education on 19th June 2025. This MoU shall establish the criteria under which parties shall carry out academic collaborative activities in areas of mutual interest. IIT Palakkad has entered into an MoU with Centre for Science and Environment on 24th July 2025.Through this MoU, Global Sanitation Centre of Excellence (GSCOE), Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, and Centre for Science and Environment are recognising their shared objectives and complementary expertise, express their mutual intention to extend and formalize their cooperation under the initiative, titled “Laboratory Alliance for Quality Execution of Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTPs) and Treatment Technologies in India and South Asia.” The MoU was signed by Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (Industry Collaboration & Sponsored Research), IIT Palakkad, and Director General, Centre for Science and Environment.
